Why We Don't Offer Free Shipping
At West Highland Evergreens, every tree and wreath is grown and harvested on our small family farm in North Carolina. Unlike mass-produced goods, our Fraser firs are hand-selected, carefully packed, and shipped fresh — which means real, unavoidable costs go into getting your order safely to your door.
Shipping live and perishable holiday greenery requires:
- Specialized packaging to protect fragile branches and preserve freshness during transit
- Expedited or time-sensitive shipping to ensure your tree or wreath arrives in peak condition
- Carrier surcharges for oversized or heavy items like full-size trees and stands
We believe in transparent, honest pricing — so rather than baking shipping costs into inflated product prices, we charge shipping separately so you always know exactly what you're paying for.
